Beech and Lime Reduction. Dorchester - 2020

A sensitive reduction we carried out on a large Copper Beech and Lime towards the end of the summer. The trees were causing a lot of shade over the garden and the owners wanted to set back their growth for a few years. These trees were within a conservation area and an application was submitted to Dorset Council to carry out a crown raise, overall reduction by about 2.5m and a crown clean on the Lime

We hired a 17.5m tracked cherry picker that dramatically reduced the amount of climbing we needed to do, saving time, energy and arguably leaving a better finish.
